I have been watching in my usual cynical silence recently as, first, members of Parliament are exposed for renting back their own homes to Parliamentary Service's so that they might claim up to $1000 a week in away from home rent. Then having been exposed, a large stomach full of honesty is vomited over the tax payer and a promise to repay some $14,000 should been accepted by the great unwashed as a marvelous generous gesture, rather than reparation of dishonestly gained funds. It reminds me of the shoplifters I encountered almost daily who blamed me for picking on them due to their ethnicity, or blamed the store owner for not securing his merchandise rather than accept the truth that they were just common thieves. I suspect similar brain power may be at work, or not working as the case may be. I wish the Police were not swayed by the MP's status and position and treated them accordingly. I can recall a conversation in the cells once where a drug dealer and several others of his ilk were questioned over the disappearance of some hand cuffs ........ a hearty cry of "what do you think we are? Thieves ? was chorused by the seriously indignant prisoners. It would seem even criminals have their standards and, Politicians can't even hope to aspire to those lofty heights.
I think the fact that you want to become a politician should exclude you automatically from the process...........

Apathy
Given no one , especially large people, have bothered to become interested in my World's Easiest Diet it must be safe to add more controversial blogs given the less than wide readership.... pun intended. Given that Governments are designed to make things fail, rather than the quaint notion that democracy will make things better , it seems apparent they are doing a wonderful job of inaction over climate change. It will be a select few who survive in a weather proof environment as the rest of us perish due to our mind numbingly apathetic inaction and stupidly blind faith that someone else will do it all for us, and if not, the government will produce a rescue package. Sadly mother nature is not to be messed with the same way our financial system has been. Put your hand up her skirt and it will be more than a slap you receive, rather the slapping of water on your 2nd floor apartment door. Come on YOU .... yes you, what are you waiting for? Get rid of your gas guzzler, only drive to work, become part of your neighbourhood, walk round it, shop in it, grow something in it. Get rid of the Malls, reinvent a local village shopping centre, but stop sitting on your hands waiting for someone else to take action...... it won't happen.

Worlds Easiest Diet II
Following up on the first part it is obvious to me , but not said anywhere by anyone that during our growing years, we are more active, eat at regular times, and by growing use up more calories each day. It stands to reason once you have stopped growing the same input will not all be required so extra weight will follow. Often referred to as "filling out". Also you hear people talk about adult size meals. This is bollocks. If you are not growing, and not running around like a kid anymore why do you need to fill your plate with twice as much as a teenage kid? This is where social excuses for over eating start. Don't listen. I am often told I should eat more .......... why? I am 6 foot tall, slim, and reasonably fit. Most friends my age are fat, have protruding stomachs, and are very sedentary and unfit. I can still do 30 push up's, stand on my head, and run with others less than half my age.
If you are sitting in an office all day you won't burn many calories so don't eat them ....... If you are outdoors and active eat as much as you need to function. My distant relative Sir Stanton Hicks was a well known nutritionist and writer and wrote about simple diets of the basic food groups. Don't complicate your life by doing anything more. Eat to function ..... don't function to Eat!

World's Easiest Diet
Read this and shake of the shackles of fad diets, expensive diets, or starvation diets. This will cost you nothing, the only thing you will lose is bad health....... still with me?
Without wanting to offend anybody one of life's simple rules is that if you over eat you get fat! Right? But I don't over eat I hear you shout ........... and you may well be right so here is the simple solution and the only thing you need is a good memory and will power. You have been conditioned by evolution and your parents to eat. You are also conditioned to eat certain things, amounts, and at certain times. This all happens between birth and until YOU take control ....... or lose control. You see you have programmed your body to expect a certain amount of food at a certain time of day. You do this for say seventeen years, you then leave the regimented life and get a job or leave home and go to college or university. ALL your previous conditioning can go out the window at this point. You're late for work, or class so skip breakfast, your body goes " OK I can get by for a little while and you struggle through the morning. Mid morning you get a break and grab a coffee and bun or muffin or more....... your body uses what its used to getting at that time then ... wait for it..... stores the extra as fat! You have a medium lunch but catch up after classes or when you get home, but you are going out so will eat later ........ by the time you eat your body has said .... I can get by ........ when you do feed it that makes it say .... hey I don't need that it's late I'm going to shut down for the night so ........... stores it as fat. If you can only REGIMENT your eating times to that of your childhood, don't eat in between, NEVER miss breakfast you'll get your old body back. Breakfast starts your body off for the day. It starts your metabolism and sets you up with the energy etc that you need. If you miss this it's downhill from then on. NEVER eat fruit past 4.00pm and don't eat past 9.30pm. One more big tip .......... go back to eating what grandma had in her pantry. Eat butter, eat some fat, have cream on your dessert, but also eat fresh vegetables and fruit. I dare you ............ get on with it and no excuses. There is no such thing as big bones.... some people have more dense bones but its the fat that makes em look fat not the bones. Again I'm not here to pass personal judgement on individuals but I am here to give you a way back to a healthy body............

Welcome
Welcome to my Blog. I decided to set this up as a way of making statements and posting the odd photograph to give a public view on some subjects. If you are offended by my honesty, the lack of political correctness, or just my views ........... grow up and sod off!
The problem with most subjects is that someone has a political angle they want to push so anyone not in sync with them is either discredited or demonized. This has become a very common and successful way of dispatching rivals and Governments around the world use it as a daily tool.
I may well stoop to it along the way myself but I hope , generally, to rise above the morons that can only exist by its daily use. I hope to offer my ancient and very idealistic knowledge to my blogs and my only agenda is to vent my spleen or just have fun.
